There are two posters I designed for the World Flower Day demonstrating my ability to use photoshop and other visual elements to communicate. I also design the logo of World Flower Day, in which its shape reflects the event.

In this project, I explored ways to communicate accurately and effectively using visual elements, for instance, typefaces, symbolism of the illustration, layout, and colours. With all the elements working in a harmonic way, the reader then will be more likely to immerse themselves into the context of the book.

The Cactus series is all about the whimsical thoughts toward cactus I had. Originally they were just illustrations, however, I did push it further by making one of the design into sweatshirts and selling them on Built, the temporary design shop. Through this real-world experience, I learnt that illustration design and illustration design on a piece of clothing were completely different from each other, since they served different purposes and had different contexts. And I also learnt that introducing a product to an actual market involved considerations of budgeting, marketing, and so on.

I also submitted my design to threadless, with a hope to spread my design to a broader audience.
I couldn't be more proud of myself seeing people wearing my design!
